Discontinued dental care attendance among people with dementia: A register-based longitudinal study

Summary: This study investigates the risk factors for discontinuing dental care after dementia diagnosis in Stockholm County, Sweden. The results show that factors such as fewer remaining teeth and living alone increase the risk of discontinued dental attendance, while patients with Parkinson's disease dementia have a lower risk compared to those with Alzheimer's disease.
