This article reports a clinicopathological conference presented at the Edinburgh Clinical Neurology Course 2021, discussing the case of a 70-year-old retired male plumber who was admitted with reduced consciousness, confusion, and headache, and later developed encephalopathy, seizures, and myoclonus. Despite treatment, the patient passed away 10 weeks later.
