This document presents a bibliographic review and taxonomy for mixed integer linear programming models (PLEM) in production planning. It analyzes single-stage models for their interest in different types of production processes. A total of 30 models have been studied and classified according to their objectives, formulation, representation, characteristics, and restrictions, providing a clear and concise presentation of these models and a framework for further development.
This document presents a bibliographic review and a subsequent taxonomy for mixed integer linear programming models (PLEM) in production planning. Specifically, single-stage models are analyzed for their interest in various types of production processes. A total of 30 models have been studied, which are classified according to the objectives pursued, their formulation, their representation and, furthermore, according to what characteristics and restrictions have been taken into account. As a result, these models are presented in a clear and concise manner, providing a framework for further development.
