Notes on the genus Chinattus Logunov, 1999 from India, Pakistan and Nepal (Arachnida: Araneae: Salticidae)

Summary: This paper describes a new species of the genus Chinattus, as well as new records of two other Chinattus species from Nepal, India, and Vietnam. The distribution of all three species is mapped, and a brief discussion on the current state of knowledge of the genus Chinattus is also provided.

Summary: This paper presents new taxonomic and faunistic data on 12 species of jumping spiders from India and Nepal. A new species from east India, Carrhotus spiridonovi sp.n. (male), is described, as well as unknown females for two species for the first time. New species records are provided for the faunas of India (three species) and Nepal (two species).
