It was found that P. guajava had low toxicity and increased cell viability, while a concentration of 500µg/ml was toxic to DP-MSCs. The hydro-alcoholic extracts of the herbs were efficient in maintaining DP-MSC viability. Co-culturing stem cells with herbal elements could stimulate endogenous factors to enhance cell proliferation and viability.
