Rectifying and negative differential resistance in nonmetal-adsorbed black arsenic phosphorus

Peng-Wei Gong et al.

Summary: In this study, the structural and electromagnetic properties of b-AsP with adsorbed nonmetal atoms were investigated using first-principle calculations. Several rectifying device models were proposed based on the diverse electromagnetic properties induced by different kinds of nonmetal atoms adsorbed on b-AsP. The results demonstrated that N-doped b-AsP can be used as a two-dimensional molecular rectifier and spin filter.
