Dynamic Behavior of the Inertial Platform Related to the Research Facility Building Laser and Gamma at ELI-NP Bucharest

Summary: This paper studies the vibration of the large inertial platform in the Laser + Gamma building of the ELI-NP project. A rigid body model is developed and compared with the finite element model of the concrete platform. The study shows that the rigid model can obtain low vibration modes with the advantage of simplicity and fast results.
