Isolation and Characterization of Endophytes Bacterial Strains of Momordica charantia L. and Their Possible Approach in Stress Management

Summary: In this study, eight endophytic bacterial strains were isolated from the root of Momordica charantia L. The strains exhibited various plant growth-promoting traits, and differed in their carbon and nitrogen source utilization as well as antibiotic sensitivity. Some strains showed resistance against broad-spectrum antibiotics, while others demonstrated tolerance to high salt concentration.
