FRESH AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS SUPPLY CHAIN COORDINATION CONSIDERING CONSUMERS' DUAL PREFERENCES UNDER CARBON CAP-AND-TRADE MECHANISM

Yang Yang et al.

Summary: This paper discusses the equilibrium decision-making problem of a two-level fresh agricultural products supply chain under the conditions of carbon quota trading policy, consumers' preference for fresh agricultural products and low-carbon preference. Yingxue Ren et al.

Summary: The performance of food safety management systems of Chinese food business operators is influenced by their context characteristics. Most of the participating operators have implemented systems that are adequate to their background risks. However, there is an imbalance in the emphasis on control activities over assurance activities, which is attributed to the current food law. There is room for improvement in organizational characteristics affecting the systems.

Xianpei Hong et al.

Summary: This study evaluates the performance of a closed-loop supply chain system integrating quality information decisions with remanufacturing operational decisions. It provides a new decision tool to assist green manufacturers in deciding whether to acquire information from a third-party quality assessment agency before disclosing the quality information. The study also finds that profits are higher under mandatory information disclosure when the green manufacturer refuses to assess product quality.
