Summary: A novel nanostructure photocatalytic material made with Lanthanum doped SnSe using a one-pot microwave method is reported. The photocatalytic efficiency of pure SnSe and Lanthanum doped SnSe nanostructures in degrading organic pollutants from wastewater was investigated. The crystal structure, morphology, and optical properties of the nanostructure were analyzed. The nanostructure showed enhanced physicochemical properties and a synergistic effect, with the concentration of La playing a significant role. The optical energy gap decreased with increasing doping concentration. The catalytic nature of the La-doped samples was higher than that of pure SnSe.

One pot preparation of tin sulfide decorated graphene nanocomposite for high performance supercapacitor applications

Vibrational and electronic structures of tin selenide nanowires confined inside carbon nanotubes
