Summary: The study aimed to isolate seasonal coronaviruses from human airway epithelium using modified culture methods. The results showed that ALI culture was effective in isolating HCoVs, particularly in obtaining HCoV-OC43 and HCoV-NL63. Furthermore, the LLC-MK2 cell line in combination with ALI cultures was successful in large-scale culturing of HCoV-NL63.
