Pharmaceutical immunoglobulin G impairs anti-carcinoma activity of oxaliplatin in colon cancer cells

Yuru Shang et al.

Summary: Pharmaceutical-grade human IgG was found to influence the viability of colorectal cancer cell lines and impair the anti-tumoral effects of oxaliplatin. Cancer cells express IgG receptors and accumulate human IgG intracellularly.

Serum Proteomic Profiling Reveals Differentially Expressed IGHG3 and A1AG1 as Potential Predictors of Chemotherapeutic Response in Advanced Non-small Cell Lung Cancer

May Myat Mon et al.

Summary: This study identified differentially expressed proteins in the serum of advanced non-small cell lung cancer patients responding to CAR plus PTX chemotherapy, with elevated IGHG3 and reduced A1AG1 levels in responders. The findings suggest that serum expression levels of IGHG3 and A1AG1 proteins may be useful for selecting NSCLC patients who can benefit from CAR plus PTX standard therapy.
