Summary: The study found that different tillage practices have a significant impact on the decomposition of soil organic carbon (SOC), with no tillage with straw mulch (NTS) having higher SOC mineralization capacity but lower carbon mineralizability. Moldboard plow tillage with straw incorporated (CTS) and moldboard plow tillage with straw removal (CT) showed better protection of SOC.
