Revealing the genetic diversity of maize (Zea maysL.) populations by phenotypic traits and DArTseq markers for variable resistance to fall armyworm

Chapwa Kasoma et al.

Summary: This study aimed to determine the genetic diversity of 59 maize genotypes with varying resistance to fall armyworm using phenotypic traits and SNP-based DArT markers. Significant phenotypic differences and genetic variation were observed, with some genotypes showing favorable agronomic performance and FAW resistance.
