Novel usage of the curved rectangular fin on the heat transfer of a double-pipe heat exchanger with a nanofluid

Bahram Jalili et al.

Summary: This study investigates the convection heat transfer in a countercurrent double-tube heat exchanger with various fins, comparing the performance with simple and rectangular-finned geometries. The results show that the water-aluminum oxide nanofluid has a better convection heat transfer coefficient than water-titanium dioxide and pure water. Heat exchangers with rectangular and curved fins have significantly better efficiency than the heat exchanger without a fin.

Effect of magnetic and boundary parameters on flow characteristics analysis of micropolar ferrofluid through the shrinking sheet with effective thermal conductivity

Bahram Jalili et al.

Summary: This study investigates the characteristics of ferrofluid over a shrinking sheet with an effective thermal conductivity model. The magnetic and boundary parameters were found to have the same impact on velocity, while the micro-rotation parameter did not affect velocity. Comparison with other researchers' results shows the impressive accuracy and efficiency of the methods used in this study.
