Perioperative and Survival Outcomes of Robotic-Assisted Surgery, Comparison with Laparoscopy and Laparotomy, for Ovarian Cancer: A Network Meta-Analysis

Qin Tang et al.

Summary: This study compared the perioperative and survival outcomes of robotic-assisted surgery, traditional laparoscopy, and laparotomy approaches in ovarian cancer. The results showed that compared to laparotomy, robotic-assisted laparoscopy and laparoscopy had shorter hospital stays, decreased blood loss, and lower rates of complications and transfusion. There were no significant differences in 5-year overall survival among the three surgical approaches.
