Impact of renewable energy integration on a novel method for pricing incentive payments of incentive-based demand response program

Tuyen Nguyen Duc et al.

Summary: This paper presents a method of pricing incentive payments for the incentive-based DR program through social welfare maximization framework, and proposes the quantification of incentive payments using a fuzzy logic model. It also discusses the impact of renewable energy sources on the pricing mechanism and the benefits of all parties participating in the DR program.

An Interval Probabilistic Energy Flow Calculation Method for CCHP Campus Microgrids

Yuquan Xie et al.

Summary: This article introduces a method for describing the uncertain distribution parameters using the parameterized probability box model, and develops an interval PEF calculation model for a combined cooling, heating, and power campus microgrid. The use of affine arithmetic reduces calculation errors, and a method for removing extra noise terms is proposed. A case study shows that this method has higher computational accuracy.

A multi-stage joint planning and operation model for energy hubs considering integrated demand response programs

S. A. Mansouri et al.

Summary: This paper presents a two-stage stochastic model for the integrated design and operation of an energy hub system with electrical and thermal energy storage systems. Uncertainties are addressed through the incorporation of demand response and integrated demand response programs, and the problem is solved using real-coded genetic algorithm and binary-coded genetic algorithm. The simulation results show that considering uncertainties leads to increased investment cost, while implementing shiftable demand response program can reduce operating cost.
