SiO2-coated molecularly imprinted sensor based on Si quantum dots for selective detection of catechol in river water

Cadmium(II) ion removal from aqueous solution using chitosan oligosaccharide-based blend

By utilizing surface imprinting technology, selecting functional monomers, and doping with gold nanoparticles, the sensor exhibited excellent selectivity, sensitivity, repeatability, and stability. The sensor showed a good linear relationship with a low detection limit, making it suitable for trace Cd(II) ion detection in real samples.

Systematic study on the synthesis of novel ion-imprinted polymers based on rhodizonate for the highly selective removal of Pb(II)

Selective solid phase extraction and preconcentration of Cd(II) in the solution using microwave-assisted inverse emulsion-suspension Cd(II) ion imprinted polymer

The adsorption process was described by the pseudosecond-order kinetic model and Langmuir isotherm, showing good selectivity and adsorption capacity. MW@Cd(II)-IIP exhibited a spontaneous and endothermic adsorption process with a recovery rate of 95.22%-104% in waste water samples under optimum solid phase extraction conditions.
