A simple and green ultrasound liquid-liquid microextraction method based on low viscous hydrophobic deep eutectic solvent for the preconcentration and separation of selenium in water and food samples prior to HG-AAS detection

Nail Altunay et al.

Summary: A simple and green ultrasound liquid-liquid microextraction method based on low viscous hydrophobic deep eutectic solvent (ULLME-LV-HDES) was proposed for preconcentration and separation of selenium, with successful application to food and water samples. The method showed high preconcentration and enhancement factors, low detection limit, and good accuracy when tested with certified reference materials.

From Co-MOF to CoNi-MOF to Ni-MOF: A Facile Synthesis of 1D Micro-/Nanomaterials

Xinxin Hang et al.

Summary: Controlling the growth of metal-organic frameworks at the micro-/nanoscopic scale can introduce new physical properties and functions without altering their chemical identities. A series of MOFs with one-dimensional rod-like architecture were successfully synthesized, with the diameter of the rods decreasing as the Ni2+ content increases, resulting in improved supercapacitor performances. Among these MOF materials, Co1Ni20-MOF exhibited the highest specific capacity and excellent cycle performance due to its smaller diameter micro-/nanorod structure and the synergy effect between the optimal molar ratio of Co2+ and Ni2+.
