A general-purpose calculation module for route optimization in virtualized networks

Summary: In this paper, we studied the routing problem for SRs in NFV-enabled SDNs by jointly considering dynamic VNF placement and multiple resource and QoS constraints. We defined two optimization problems, formulated them as ILP problems, proposed two efficient algorithms, and demonstrated through simulation results that our algorithms outperform existing ones in terms of throughput, traffic acceptance rate, and load balance.
