Highly selective CO2 gas sensor using stabilized NiO-In2O3 nanospheres coated reduced graphene oxide sensing electrodes at room temperature

M. Amarnath et al.

Summary: In this study, room temperature operative carbon dioxide gas sensing electrodes were developed using a simple sonication assisted hydrothermal method. The sensor, particularly the rGO-8:2 type, showed high sensitivity of 40% towards 50 ppm CO2, with a quick response time of 6 seconds and recovery time of 5 seconds. The optimized amount of indium addition with nickel oxide significantly influenced CO2 sensing.
