High-performance polarization-sensitive photodetectors on two-dimensional β-InSe

Summary: In this work, stable p-type 2D-layered beta-InSe was prepared via temperature gradient method, and its strong anisotropic transport and high photoresponse properties were experimentally and theoretically proven. Consequently, beta-InSe is identified as a competitive candidate for filter-free polarization-sensitive photodetectors.

All-optical modulation in Black Phosphorus functionalized microfibre coil resonator

Broadband nonlinear optical response of graphdiyne for mid-infrared solid-state lasers

Summary: Graphdiyne (GDY) is a promising novel all-carbon nanomaterial as an optoelectronic material. By successfully fabricating high-quality GDY saturable absorber and saturable absorber mirror, broadband nonlinear saturable absorption and ultrafast relaxation dynamic properties in mid-infrared region were investigated. This study marks the first demonstration of ultrashort pulsed lasers in the mid-infrared region with GDY absorbers, showing the potential of GDY as a broadband SA for all solid-state mid-infrared pulsed lasers.
