A comprehensive assessment of bus rollover crashes: integration of multibody dynamic and finite element simulation methods

Summary: This study evaluated the tilt table and modified dolly rollover (MDR) crash tests and compared their results with real-world rollover crashes. The results indicated that the common impact mechanism among these rollover scenarios was the impact between the bus's roof corner and ground, causing lateral deformation patterns. The intrusion of the bus's passenger compartment was not identified as a main source of injury.

Electric cyclist injury of the collision between right turn of truck and electric bicycle

Freeway accident detection and classification based on the multi-vehicle trajectory data and deep learning model

A Deep Convolutional Neural Network model is developed to recognize an accident and classify its type, achieving high accuracy rates. The results indicate that this method outperforms existing methods using different data, providing a fast and accurate way to identify accidents and determine liability.
