How CSR and well-being affect work-related outcomes: a hospitality industry perspective

Summary: This study analyzes the influence of hospitality industry employees' perception of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and participation in CSR activities on their well-being and loyalty boosterism. It finds that employees' perception of CSR significantly affects their participation in CSR activities. The participation in CSR activities, in turn, positively influences employees' well-being and loyalty. The study suggests replicating the conceptual model and empirical testing it with companies well known for their CSR and expanding the study to cover the entire hospitality industry for better generalizability. The research provides practical implications for hospitality practitioners to develop engaging CSR strategies and activities that can foster employee well-being and enhance loyalty boosterism.

Predicting employee engagement with micro-level corporate social responsibility (CSR) practices in the public accounting firms

Cognitive Control Strategies and Adaptive Performance in a Complex Work Task

However, perceived corporate hypocrisy can negate the positive effects of InCSR on employee behavior, particularly when the level of hypocrisy is high.
