Summary: We propose a novel framework that tackles both the electroweak-hierarchy problem and the strong-CP problem simultaneously. By selecting specific Higgs vacuum expectation value and angle after the QCD phase transition, we can solve these problems without relying on the Peccei-Quinn mechanism or other traditional solutions. Our framework predicts a distinctive correlated signal pattern in hadronic EDM, fuzzy dark matter, and axion experiments.

Summary: We present a cosmological solution to the electroweak hierarchy problem by introducing two light scalars weakly coupled to the Higgs. This solution can decouple from the strong-CP problem and works with any standard inflationary sector. It offers various possible implementations and phenomenology, and can be tested in the future.

Summary: In this study, we perturb super-symmetric theories with anomaly-mediated super-symmetry breaking to investigate the dynamics of SU(N-4) gauge theories with fermions in a specific rank-2 symmetric tensor and N antifundamental representations. We find that for certain values of N, the global symmetry SU(N) x U(1) is dynamically broken to another gauge group, which is different from previous conjectures. Furthermore, in some cases, the soft masses divert the theory flow from a superconformal fixed point.

Summary: The study perturbs the N = 1 supersymmetric theory and shows that SO(N-c) gauge theories with matter fields in the vector representation confine due to monopole condensation, breaking the SU(N-F) chiral symmetry to SO(N-F) via the quark bilinear.

Summary: This approach presents a new solution to the Higgs naturalness problem by involving a mixing between the Higgs and the dilaton of a conformal field theory sector. If the Higgs vacuum expectation value is non-zero and below the TeV scale, a second metastable vacuum state can be achieved in the CFT, ensuring that only regions with unnaturally small Higgs mass values do not immediately collapse. The main experimental prediction of this mechanism is the presence of a dilaton in the 0.1-10 GeV range that mixes with the Higgs and can be detected at future colliders and experiments seeking weakly coupled particles.

Summary: This study proposes a controlled approximation to QCD-like theories with massless quarks by employing supersymmetric QCD perturbed by anomaly-mediated supersymmetry breaking. It shows that chiral symmetry is dynamically broken for certain conditions, and the theories lead to nontrivial infrared fixed points for a larger number of flavors. Further investigations suggest that two limits m << Λ and m >> Λ may belong to the same universality class.

Summary: Our analysis focuses on the dynamics of chiral gauge theories based on the SU(N) gauge group, with the presence of an antisymmetric tensor A and (N-4) antifundamentals F-i when N is odd. We observe that the global SU(N -4) symmetry is spontaneously broken to Sp(N-5) in this scenario, resulting in the presence of N-5 massless fermions. These findings differ from the dynamics suggested by tumbling, but can be modified to align with the symmetry breaking pattern predicted from our method by introducing a second condensate.
