Gallium phosphide photoanodes coated with nickel oxyhydroxide cocatalyst for stable photoelectrochemical water splitting reactions

Indrajit Bagal et al.

Summary: The deposition of nickel oxyhydroxide (NiOOH) cocatalyst on GaP improved the photoelectrochemical (PEC) water splitting performance, leading to higher photocurrent density, enhanced reaction kinetics, and long-term stability of the photoanodes. The NiOOH-deposited GaP showed a 10-fold increase in photocurrent density and a 1.38% photoconversion efficiency, while maintaining stability over 40000 s under illumination.

Theoretical analysis of thermophysical properties of nanomaterials

Komal Rawat et al.

Summary: This study compares the Lu model and Jiang model to calculate the variation of melting temperature, Debye temperature, and thermal expansion coefficient in nanomaterials. The results show that the melting temperature and Debye temperature increase with the diameter of nanomaterials, while the thermal expansion coefficient decreases.
