Deep Exciton Self-Trapping Cu-Based Perovskite Nanocrystals for Optoelectronic Applications

Thanh-Hai Le et al.

Summary: In this study, a ligand-mediated hot injection strategy was used to control the growth of Cs3Cu2Br5 nanocrystals and manipulate their morphology and properties. Different chain lengths of ligands resulted in different morphologies, influencing the band gaps and optical absorption spectra of the nanocrystals. Additionally, replacing the halogen atom Br with I or Cl modulated the photoluminescence of the nanocrystals, with the electronegativity of the halogen atom affecting the excitonic effect and structural deformation in the nanocrystal.
