Adapting to these challenges is crucial for achieving sustainability. The case study of the Mygdonia agricultural basin highlights deficiencies in water management and adaptation in Greece.

Spatiotemporal Changes in Mulberry-Dyke-Fish Ponds in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area over the Past 40 Years

Summary: The study found that over the past 40 years, the mulberry-dyke-fish pond ecosystems in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area have undergone significant changes, with the total surface area of the ponds increasing significantly between 1986 and 2013, peaking in 2013 before starting to decline. These changes were mainly influenced by land use changes, industrial transfer, Government guidance, and financial motives.
