Oxynitride trap over N/S co-doped graphene-supported catalysts promoting low temperature NH3-SCR performance: Insight into the structure and mechanisms

Weijie Zheng et al.

Summary: The Mn-Ce-SnOx/NSG catalysts doped with nitrogen and sulfur (N/S) showed enhanced SCR activity due to improved Ce3+/(Ce3+ + Ce4+), Mn4+/Mn3+, and O alpha/(O alpha + O beta) ratios. The unpaired electrons on N/S functional groups promoted the adsorption and oxidation of gaseous NO. At low temperatures, the N/S functional groups acted as additional oxynitride traps based on the Langmuir-Hinshelwood mechanism.
