There are variations in Up and Down state durations across different conditions and oscillatory frequencies, with a large variety of durations possible within the slow oscillatory regime. Different levels of anesthesia occupy different regions of the duration space, suggesting a complex relationship between network parameters and expression of slow oscillations.
