Lack of continuity of care experienced by people diagnosed with schizophrenia in South Korea

Summary: The study explored the continuity of care (COC) experienced by people diagnosed with schizophrenia (PDS) in South Korea, highlighting the challenges faced by PDS in poor longitudinal COC and lack of communication in cross-boundary COC. Poor employment support was found to undermine recovery efforts, and the lack of COC was attributed to sociocultural contexts such as poor self-determination, lack of family support, discrimination, and prejudice. The findings emphasize the importance of multi-pronged approaches to enhance COC and effectively connect PDS, families, psychiatrists, and psychiatric rehabilitation service providers.

Growing together: interpersonal predictors of posttraumatic growth trajectory among suicide-loss survivors

Stigma in bipolar disorder: A current review of the literature
