Electrodeposited Ni on pencil graphite electrode for glycerol electrooxidation in alkaline media

Summary: This study focuses on the electrocatalytic oxidation of glycerol using Ni modified pencil graphite electrodes in alkaline solution. The Ni/PGEs elaborated at pH = 6.92 showed the best performance for glycerol electrooxidation. Moreover, glycerol demonstrated better electrooxidation performance compared to ethanol at 35 and 45 degrees Celsius.
