Oncologic results of fertility sparing surgery of cervical cancer: An updated systematic review

Summary: This review aims to evaluate the outcomes of different surgical treatments in preserving fertility in patients with cervical cancer by analyzing oncological issues. The results show that the oncological outcomes are similar among different surgical methods in patients with stage IB1 disease. However, in patients with stage IB2 disease, open surgery has the lowest recurrence rate. Nevertheless, open surgery has the lowest pregnancy rate.
