Risk of breast cancer in relation to dietary intake of selenium and serum selenium as a marker of dietary intake: a prospective cohort study within The Malmo Diet and Cancer Study

Summary: The study found no significant association between zinc levels in serum or pre-diagnostic diet and the risk of breast cancer, as well as no clear associations between zinc and any breast cancer characteristics. Additionally, the results suggest that serum zinc is a poor marker of zinc intake.
