This article introduces a new approach to surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) based on the dependence of the growth rate of characteristic peak intensity on the concentration of substances during rapid coagulation of colloids. The proposed method allows for accurate measurement of substance content and determination of affinity coefficients for the interaction of analytes and colloidal nanoparticles.
Quantitative analysis of substances by SERS always assumes a correlation between the concentration of the substance and the characteristic peak intensity, but this article proposes an alternative new approach based on the dependence of the concentration of substances on the growth rate of the characteristic peak intensity at the beginning of rapid coagulation of colloid. The theoretical basis of the proposed method is presented, and the features and problems of its implementation are considered. The proposed quantitative SERS method allows not only to accurately measure the content of substances in the medium, but also makes it possible to determine the affinity coefficients for the interaction of analytes and colloidal nanoparticles.
