Biallelic variants in ETV2 in a family with congenital heart defects, vertebral abnormalities and preaxial polydactyly

Lina Basel-Salmon et al.

Summary: Congenital heart defects and vertebral anomalies have been reported in many genetic disorders. In a family, four consecutive pregnancies were characterized by fetuses with these anomalies, as well as preaxial polydactyly in one fetus. The reanalysis of clinical exome data identified new variants in the ETV2 gene, shedding light on a potentially novel gene-phenotype association.
