Classical Models for Twin Data

Karl G. Joreskog

Summary: The study introduces the classical models ACE and ADE used in the 1990s to estimate heredity of a phenotype, and demonstrates how these models can be extended to the ACDE model and easily estimated by maximum likelihood. Furthermore, examples are given to estimate the heredity of BMI using twin data.
