A comparative study of capacitive humidity sensor based on keratin film, keratin/graphene oxide, and keratin/carbon fibers

The keratin/carbon fiber composite-based humidity sensor showed high sensitivity, low hysteresis, and fast response/recovery times, making it suitable for various applications. Incorporating carbon fibers into keratin matrix produces a new functional composite for ultra-high sensitivity humidity sensors.

The materials were characterized using multiple techniques, and different species of Mo and O were observed under reaction conditions.
