Concentration of cell-free DNA in different tumor types

O. E. Bryzgunova et al.

Summary: cfDNA, as a crucial diagnostic and prognostic marker, has heterogeneous size and composition, imposing various restrictions on isolation methods and analysis. Concentration of cfDNA in cancer patients' blood is affected by pre-analytical, analytical, and biological factors, making it a complex area of research. Inconsistent data on cfDNA concentrations obtained by different methods suggest the need for continued study in this field.
