Fabrication of high frequency SAW devices using tri-layer lift-off photolithography

In this study, a LiNbO3-based surface acoustic wave (SAW) resonator temperature sensor was developed and showed high accuracy sensing capabilities in extreme conditions. The device was also tested under gamma-ray irradiation, and the results demonstrated the radiation resistance ability of SAW for the development of highly reliable temperature sensors in irradiation environments.
