Synthesis and anticancer evaluation of some new pyrazolo[3,4-d][1,2,3]triazin-4-ones, pyrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidines, and imidazo[1,2-b]pyrazoles clubbed with carbazole

Samir Bondock et al.

Summary: Carbazole is considered a promising template for cancer treatment due to its presence in numerous anticancer agents. In this study, novel functionalized compounds containing carbazole moiety were synthesized and evaluated for their in vitro anticancer activity. Seven compounds showed potent anticancer activity, with two of them (10d and 10e) effectively inhibiting the growth of various cancer cell lines without human toxicity.

New pyrazole-4-carbothioamide-based metal complexes: Synthesis, spectral characterization, computational, antimicrobial, and antitumor investigations

Ahmed M. Ramadan et al.

Summary: A series of pyrazole derivatives and their metal complexes were synthesized and structurally elucidated using various analytical techniques. The stoichiometries of Fe(III), Ni(II), and Cu(II) complexes were determined as 1:3, 2:3, and 2:3 respectively. The complexes showed good thermal stability and exhibited significant biological activities.

Synthesis and Antimicrobial Activity of New 4-Methyl-2-(3-pyridyl)thiazolyl Chalcones and Pyrazolines

S. Bondock et al.

Summary: A set of new thiazolyl chalcones has been synthesized and reacted with various heterocyclic aldehydes to form pyrazolines that exhibit higher antimicrobial activity against bacteria and fungi. Among them, 2-Thienylchalcone shows the most activity against P. aeruginosa, and some pyrazolines demonstrate distinctive activity towards Gram-negative bacteria and fungi.
