Summary: Anti-glomerular basement membrane (anti-GBM) disease is a rare condition in the Indian population with poor prognosis and varied presentations, where patients with pulmonary-renal syndrome exhibit more severe disease while double positive cases tend to have more chronic changes. Predictors of poor outcome include advanced age, oliguria, serum anti-GBM levels, serum creatinine levels, degree of glomerulosclerosis, and IFTA, with atypical cases accounting for a small percentage of patients.
