A novel regQTL-SNP and the risk of lung cancer: a multi-dimensional study

Yuhui Yu et al.

Summary: This study identified five candidate regQTL-SNPs associated with lung cancer risk, among which the variant T allele of rs3768617 in the LAMC1 gene significantly increased the risk of lung cancer. Functional experiments demonstrated that rs3768617 modulated the expression patterns of miRNA-548b-3p and LAMC1, affecting lung cancer development. The findings suggest that regQTL-SNPs could offer a new perspective on the regulatory role of SNPs in lung cancer pathogenesis.
