Enhanced filtration performance usingfeed-and-bleedconfiguration for purification of antibody precipitates

Zhao Li et al.

Summary: The study investigated the use of a feed-and-bleed configuration to increase the effective conversion in a hollow fiber module for more efficient washing of precipitates. Experimental data supported the feasibility of achieving 90% conversion with minimal fouling, and model calculations were consistent with the experimental results.
