Zahir Vally et al.

Summary: This study examined the potential mediational variables of fear of missing out (FOMO) and rumination in accounting for the relationship between depression and anxiety levels with problematic smartphone use (PSU). The results showed that both FOMO and rumination significantly mediated the associations between depression and anxiety with PSU severity. These findings contribute to the understanding of the role of FOMO and rumination in problematic smartphone use.

Mario R. Paredes et al.

Summary: This study examines the impact of perceived threat of COVID-19 on mental well-being, confirming a hypothesized model with future anxiety as a mediating factor.
