Promoting Plasma Photocatalytic Oxidation of Toluene Via the Construction of Porous Ag-CeO2/TiO2Photocatalyst with Highly Active Ag/oxide Interface

Yan Yan et al.

Summary: This study presents the construction of an active Ag-CeO2/TiO(2) photocatalyst by co-loading Ag and CeO(2) on porous TiO(2), which promotes the performance of the plasma-photocatalysis system in toluene oxidation removal. The interaction between plasma and the photocatalyst, as well as the enhanced surface oxidation reactions on the Ag/oxide interface, contribute to the superior performance of toluene oxidation removal. The creation of highly active metal/oxide interface on porous TiO(2) photocatalyst provides a promising strategy for constructing high-efficiency PPS for VOCs removal.
