This article reports the development activities aimed at creating an efficient process for the large-scale production of a key intermediate for a crabtree/pfaltz-type iridium complex, which is suitable for industrial application. The process involves a highly efficient Suzuki coupling and a highly enantioselective transfer hydrogenation.
Herein, we report the development activities leading to an efficient process for the large-scale production of the key intermediate to a crabtree/pfaltz-type iridium complex for industrial application. The process employs a highly efficient Suzuki coupling and a highly enantioselective transfer hydrogenation.
