Graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) is a common and serious complication after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT), with approximately 45% to 83% of patients developing GVHD in the oral cavity. However, there is currently no medical record of oral submucous fibrosis (OSF) induced by GVHD after allo-HSCT, which should be brought to the attention of dentists.
