Rogue waves of the fifth-order Ito equation on the general periodic travelling wave solutions background

Hai-Qiang Zhang et al.

Summary: In this paper, rogue wave solutions of the fifth-order Ito equation are constructed on the background of general periodic travelling wave solutions. These solutions cover known results in the literature. Through the Darboux transformation, one-, two- and three-fold rogue wave solutions are derived on the periodic travelling wave solutions background, with several illustrations provided and their generation mechanisms analyzed.

Rogue waves for the fourth-order nonlinear Schrodinger equation on the periodic background

Hai-Qiang Zhang et al.

Summary: This paper investigates rogue wave solutions on a periodic background for the fourth-order nonlinear Schrodinger equation, finding them to be modulationally unstable with respect to long-wave perturbations. By combining nonlinearization of spectral problems with the Darboux transformation method, rogue wave solutions on the background of periodic waves are derived. The dynamics of rogue waves are studied, revealing analogs in the standard NLS equation and unaffected magnification factor by higher-order effects. Additionally, the rogue wave solutions can simplify into multi-pole soliton solutions as the elliptic modulus approaches 1, forming weakly bound states.

1-Soliton solutions of the (2+1)-dimensional Heisenberg ferromagnetic spin chain model with the beta time derivative

K. Hosseini et al.

Summary: This paper analytically explores a (2+1)-dimensional nonlinear model with the beta time derivative describing wave propagation in the Heisenberg ferromagnetic spin chain. The 1-soliton solutions of the model are formally derived using systematic techniques, and the impact of the beta parameter on the dynamical behavior of bright and dark solitons is analyzed through graphical representations in three-dimensional postures.

The (2+1)-dimensional Heisenberg ferromagnetic spin chain equation: its solitons and Jacobi elliptic function solutions

Kamyar Hosseini et al.

Summary: The study focuses on a nonlinear (2+1)-dimensional evolution model that describes the propagation of nonlinear waves in Heisenberg ferromagnetic spin chain system. By using a specific transformation and a modified version of the Jacobi elliptic expansion method, soliton and Jacobi elliptic function solutions to the equation are derived, with three-dimensional plots presented to illustrate the dynamical features of the bright and dark soliton solutions.

Darboux-Backlund transformation and localized excitation on the periodic wave background for the nonlinear Schrodinger equation

Yunqing Yang et al.

Summary: In this study, the exact nonlinear wave solutions of the Nonlinear Schrodinger equation were constructed on period wave backgrounds instead of constant backgrounds. Soliton and breather solutions were given on two types of cnoidal wave backgrounds using Darboux-Backlund transformation. The density evolutions of these solutions were presented under different parameters to study their wave structures and dynamical properties.

Modulation instability, higher-order rogue waves and dynamics of the Gerdjikov-Ivanov equation

Yu Lou et al.

Summary: The study investigates the modulation instability and higher-order rogue waves for the Gerdjikov-Ivanov equation. It shows that the modulation instability is a condition for the existence of rogue waves, and explicit formulas for higher-order rogue wave solutions are obtained using Darboux transformation and variable separation technique. The kinetic properties of first, second, and third-order rogue wave solutions are elucidated from a three-dimensional perspective.

Modulational Instability of Periodic Standing Waves in the Derivative NLS Equation

Jinbing Chen et al.

Summary: In this study, periodic standing waves in the derivative nonlinear Schrodinger equation in plasma physics are classified using an algebraic method with two eigenvalues. The eight eigenvalues of the Kaup-Newell spectral problem at the end points of the spectral bands outside the real line are used for classification. Analytical work is complemented with numerical approximation to fully characterize the modulational instability of the periodic standing waves in the DNLS equation.

Summary: This paper investigates rogue waves on a general periodic traveling wave background of an integrable extended modified Korteweg-de Vries equation. Through Darboux transformation and nonlinearization of the Lax pair, first-, second-, and third-order rogue waves are presented on the general periodic traveling wave background. Furthermore, the dynamic behaviors of rogue periodic waves are elucidated from the perspective of three-dimensional structures.

Rogue waves on the background of periodic standing waves in the derivative nonlinear Schrodinger equation

Jinbing Chen et al.

Summary: The DNLS equation is a model for studying nonlinear wave dynamics in plasma physics and optics. The study shows that rogue waves can only be localized in space-time if the periodic standing wave is modulationally unstable, otherwise they degenerate into algebraic solitons. The maximal amplitudes of rogue waves have been analytically derived and numerically confirmed.

Soliton Solutions of High-order Nonlinear Schrodinger Equations with Different Laws of Nonlinearities

Kamyar Hosseini et al.

Summary: This paper investigates high-order nonlinear Schrodinger equations in non-Kerr law media with various nonlinearities. By utilizing a new Kudryashov method, soliton solutions for these equations are obtained, which is considered to be an effective mathematical tool for searching soliton solutions of high-order nonlinear Schrodinger equations.
