Enhancing the efficiency of solution-processed inverted quantum dot light-emitting diodes via ligand modification with 6-mercaptohexanol

Woosuk Lee et al.

Summary: The surface hydrophilicity of the quantum dot emitting layer was modified via a ligand exchange to prevent damage during hole transport layer deposition in all-solution-processed inverted QLEDs. By using a hydrophilic ligand, the device's current efficiency and external quantum efficiency were significantly improved, providing a new approach for high-efficiency all-solution-processed inverted QLEDs.

Origin of enhanced efficiency and stability in diblock copolymer-grafted Cd-free quantum dot-based light-emitting diodes

Yeseul Park et al.

Summary: This study introduces hybrid InP/ZnSeS/ZnS quantum dots with carbazole groups for efficient and stable QLEDs, reducing driving voltages. The distance between quantum dots was increased by diblock copolymer units, decreasing the impact of Forster resonance energy transfer between quantum dots. Carbazole groups facilitated hole injection and blocked excess electron leakage.

Controllable patterning of nanoparticles via solution transfer processes

Min Zhang et al.

Summary: Solution processes are widely used for controllable patterning of nanoparticles due to their advantages, but the coffee ring effect and Marangoni flow can lead to nonuniform micro-patterns. Various approaches have been developed to address these issues, focusing on either taking advantage of or inhibiting the coffee ring effect.
